2020

In early 2020 I received an invite from Photographer, Nicholas Fritz to become a part of his ongoing collab project with fellow artists. It involves choosing a piece from the other’s portfolio to be used as inspiration to create a new work. Nicholas chose my painting, ‘Misty Haze’ and created his stunning Digital Art piece, ‘A Garden of Forking Paths’; the first image below. I decided on his gorgeous photograph, ‘Ath.ymia‘ and created, ‘A Summer’s Day’. We posted the results on our IG pages on the 02/04/20; also see Nicholas’s Facebook post. The making of, ‘A Summer’s Day’.

‘Nature-hue‘ is a series I started in January 2020. I focused on the theme, Painting for healing and on the colours Yellow, Green & Blue. These pieces are small mixed-media paintings on canvas. I plan to make some available in the form of art prints and possibly high-res. instant downloads in due course; only one download will be available. Yellow is the colour of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Green has great healing power. It is the most restful colour for the human eye; it can improve vision. Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. Blue is strongly associated with tranquillity and calmness. Ref: color-wheel-pro.com 🌼
